Meet Ruby Yoga Instructors

With nearly a decade of teaching experience and over 500 hours of advanced training, studio owner Laura Ruby guides students through practices that support the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. Her approach is grounded in compassion, attentiveness, and a deep respect for each individual’s unique journey.

“We create a warm, supportive environment where students feel safe to explore their practice, build strength and resilience, and cultivate inner ease,” Laura said. “Whether teaching dynamic flows or restorative practices, I aim to meet students where they are and help them grow with kindness, clarity, and confidence.”​​​​​

Arianne began her yoga journey more than 20 years ago. In 2020, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Shayna Hiller at the Yoga Collective out of Santa Monica, California and is also certified in Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga. She infuses smart alignment with playful flow, breath work, and includes yoga philosophy to help students find inspiration and happiness in daily life. She believes yoga is for every human and possibly some very zen animals. Arianne teaches All Levels Flow on Monday and Wednesday, Restorative on Friday and leads monthly Sound Baths.

Ruth completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga training through Yoga Vidya in Albany, NY in 2012, and completed Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD, PT’s Relax and Renew Restorative Teacher Training at Kripalu in 2015. In Jan. 2017, through Yoga Vidya, she completed Advanced Studies in Teaching Yoga to Seniors.

Nuch completed 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training through Integral Yoga in Buckingham. She is also a certified Yoga Therapist. She has specialized certifications in Raja yoga (gaining control over the mind), stress management, adaptive (chair) yoga, restorative yoga and Yoga for Cancer and Chronic Illness.

Claire began practicing yoga at 62-years-old to improve range of motion after a total knee replacement and to relieve discomfort from osteoarthritis. She is now a certified yoga instructor with a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) certification; 30-hour Restorative Yoga certification; 20-hour Yin Yoga certification; and a 25-hour Chair Yoga certification. She also completed a continuing education course on Arthritis and Yoga and is a staunch advocate of using props and modifications to make this beautiful practice accessible to everyone.

Deb Goodman completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT) in 2019 in Guatemala. She is certified to teach Vinyasa, Hatha & Yin yoga styles.

"I was first introduced to yoga in 2011 as another form of fitness. It quickly became the only form of fitness I was interested in due to the variety of styles and the mind body connection the practice offers. I knew early on I would become a yoga teacher because of its positive influence on my life," Deb said.  "In todays world, where distractions never end, yoga is a way to disconnect from the outer world and reconnect with your inner world."
