New to Ruby Yoga

Whether you're new to Yoga or just new to Ruby Yoga, we want to make your first visit as comfortable as possible from finding a parking space to finding your way onto the mat in the studio. The following information should help, but please feel free to contact us with additional questions.

Registering for Class

Go to the Class Schedule page, and click on the class you want to attend. Prompts will guide you through the payment process. (Note: Packages are available for purchase that reduce class price.)

What to Wear

No need to go out and buy special clothes. Wear something comfortable. Sweats or leggings and a t-shirt or tank with maybe a sweater or sweatshirt you can remove after you warm up. Bare feet are best so you don't slip and slide, but socks are okay if you're more comfortable with them on.

Free Parking

There is limited parking available on the street right in front of the studio and ample parking in the lot at the north end (nearest Main St.) of the building.

When to Arrive

Classes start on time. Allow yourself a few minutes to get ready, use the restroom and set up your mat prior to class start time.

New Student Form

First time students are required to complete a New Student Form prior to class. Please allow a few extra minutes for this process.

Gear/Props

If you already have a mat, great. If not, the studio has mats you are welcome to use. We provide all other props, such as bolsters, straps, blankets, etc. Instructors often set out props they want to use for a class before students arrive.

Cubbies

Just inside the studio door, there are cubbies to store your coats, shoes, bags and other personal items. (Please silence phone during class.)

Restroom

There is a restroom available for students.
