Meet Ruby Yoga Instructors

Owner & Instructor - Flow-ish Yoga, Traditional Yoga, Yoga Basics & Restorative Yoga
Laura Ruby
Laura is an E-RYT 200 and a YACEP. She opened the studio in 2019. A journalist, Laura discovered yoga as medicine following an illness. She received her 200-hour teacher training certification through Christa Masterangelo Joyce at Jala Yoga in Shepherdstown and has completed training in trauma-informed yoga and kids' yoga. Laura teaches Flow-ish Yoga, Traditional Yoga, Yoga Basics, and Restorative Yoga. She is currently pursuing 300-hour teaching certification.

Arianne Warner
Arianne began her yoga journey more than 20 years ago. In 2020, she completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training with Shayna Hiller at the Yoga Collective out of Santa Monica, California. She infuses smart alignment with playful flow, breath work, and includes yoga philosophy to help students find inspiration and happiness in daily life. She believes yoga is for every human and possibly some very zen animals. Arianne teaches UnWind Yoga on Wednesdays and Yoga Basics on Fridays.

Deb Goodman
Deb completed her 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 in Guatemala. She is certified to teach Vinyasa, Hatha & Yin yoga styles.
First introduced to yoga in 2011 as another form of fitness, it quickly became the only form of fitness she was interested in due to the variety of styles and the mind body connection the practice offers.
"I knew early on I would become a yoga teacher because of its positive influence on my life." Deb said. "In today's world, where distractions never end, yoga is a way to disconnect from the outer world and reconnect with your inner world."

Rich Sitorius
Rich has led meditation gatherings since 2018, sharing techniques for managing day to day stress and anxiety. He has done professional bodywork since 2009, specializing in myofacial release. He has practiced energy healing since 2011 and holds a proficiency certification in Integrative Energetic Healing from the White Winds Institute. Rich worked for several years as a bodywork instructor and taught anatomy and physiology for a local massage school and continues to offer bodywork lessons locally.

Mary Holmes
Mary earned her 200-hour yoga teachers certification at Transform Power Yoga in Haymarket in 2022.

"Yoga first came into my life over a decade ago when I had an accident and fractured my spine. I have gained so much strength in my body and in my mind and spirit alike, from practicing yoga almost daily," Mary said. "I knew from the beginning that I wanted to share this amazing practice with everyone I know."

As a yoga teacher, she strives to teach beyond the poses, diving into the spiritual practice through meditation, pranayama, affirmations, and practicing mindful moments throughout the day.

Jessie Caffery
Jessie earned her 200-hour teaching certification through Jala Yoga in 2020 and enjoys teaching Hatha and Vinyasa yoga and working with students of all levels, especially beginners. In 2023, Jessie earned her certification in Yin yoga. She, too, is currently pursuing her 300-hour teacher training.

Ruth Tietz
Ruth completed her 200-hour Hatha Yoga training through Yoga Vidya in Albany, NY in 2012, and completed Judith Hanson Lasater, PhD, PT’s Relax and Renew Restorative Teacher Training at Kripalu in 2015. In Jan. 2017, through Yoga Vidya, she completed Advanced Studies in Teaching Yoga to Seniors.
"My hope is that you step off your mat feeling restored, nourished and balanced" Ruth said.

Natalia Ossinova
Natalia has over a decade of experience as an obstetrical nurse in major hospitals in NYC and, later, at a freestanding birth center. She is a mother of three kids and is passionate about the transformative power of birth and postpartum. Natalia’s is an international board certified lactation consultant and a former La Leche League leader. She has also studied herbal medicine with Teresa Boardwine at Green Comfort School of Herbal Medicine.
Natalia recently completed a 100-hour prenatal yoga training with Womben Wellness and is excited to offer gentle yet effective tools to help connect mamas to their bodies and their babies and to empower them to be informed, inspired, confident and supported.

Jo Anna Martin
Jo Anna has practiced yoga since the late 1990’s and began her teacher journey by focusing on children’s yoga. Holding a M.Ed.and a Virginia teaching license, a certificate in children’s yoga through Creative Kids Yoga, along with years of classroom experience, she started teaching kids’ yoga “play shops” in the community. Since then, JoAnna has earned 200-hour RYT through Yogafit and holds a 140-hour Warrior Trauma Sensitive Yoga Teacher certificate along with several other trauma-informed certifications.
