We have a terrific teaching staff.

JoAnna teaches flow & restore yoga on Wednesdays and teen yoga on Sundays.

In Jan. 2017, through Yoga Vidya, she completed Advanced Studies in Teaching Yoga to Seniors.

"I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom all my teachers have shared with me," she said. "I love to combine gentle creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your own practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga. My hope is that you step off your mat feeling restored, nourished and balanced."

Ruth teaches slow yoga for all bodies on Wednesdays.

Arianne infuses smart alignment with playful flow, breath work, and includes yoga philosophy to help students find inspiration and happiness in daily life. She believes yoga is for every human and possibly some very zen animals.

Leigh Stride is a Yoga Therapist in training, received their 200-hour Yoga Teacher certification through East Meets West Yoga Center, and their 95-hour Children’s Yoga Teacher training through Radiant Child Yoga. Additionally, they have completed Yoga Nidra, Yin Yoga, and Yoga for ADHD and Autism trainings. Leigh has a PhD in Special Education and is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. They have a strong interest in how yoga can be used to guide children and teens with special needs. They are particularly interested in the chakras and psychology, examining the correlation between eastern and western healing modalities. Leigh teaches yin yoga on Fridays.

Mary Holmes earned her 200-hour yoga teachers certification at Transform Power Yoga in Haymarket in 2022.

"Yoga first came into my life over a decade ago when I had an accident and fractured my spine. I have gained so much strength in my body and in my mind and spirit alike, from practicing yoga almost daily," Mary said. "I knew from the beginning that I wanted to share this amazing practice with everyone I know."

Mary enjoys reading, learning, baking, creating art, hiking and being outside soaking up the present moment as much as possible. As a yoga teacher, she will strive to teach yoga beyond the poses, diving into the spiritual practice through meditation, pranayama, affirmations, and practicing mindful moments throughout the day.

"My mission in life is to guide others to find their highest potential and possibly reach samadhi or absorption into the Divine," she said.

At the studio, Mary will primarily sub for the Friday morning yin class. We hope to have her teach more in the near future.

Natalia Ossinova has over a decade of experience as an obstetrical nurse in major hospitals in NYC, and later a freestanding birth center. She is a mother of three kids, who were born via cesarean birth, a vaginal birth after caesarean, and a home birth. She is passionate about the transformative power of birth and postpartum. Natalia’s special focus is on breastfeeding — she is an international board certified lactation consultant and a former La Leche League leader. She has also studied herbal medicine with Teresa Boardwine at Green Comfort School of Herbal Medicine.
Natalia recently completed a 100-hour prenatal yoga training with Womben Wellness and is excited to offer gentle yet effective tools to help connect mamas to their bodies and their babies and to empower them to be informed, inspired, confident and supported.
Natalia will offer a three-part series for pregnant women, focusing on birth, postpartum and breastfeeding.
She will help you tap into your inner goddess, using safe postures to ready our minds and bodies for the powerful ride that is birth and postpartum. Strengthening the mind and the muscles required in birthing, you’ll also learn to soften and allow for the birth to happen. Workshops include an opportunity to sip tea and grab a snack while connecting to other pregnant mamas and enjoy a conversation about birth, breastfeeding, and the mysterious land of postpartum.
